Social Media Management for Creatives

I hear it all the time: “I’m a photographer, not a content creator, social media manager, accountant, secretary, or the thousands of other things that come with owning a small business.”

Friends, I get it, but I also know that as a small business owner, you are all of those things.  We wear many hats when we own our own business. Some of them are our strengths, and others not so much.  One of my strengths is social media; I want to use my strength for good!  When we work together to manage your social media, I oversee the curating, planning, and posting!  Sound too good to be true?  Here are a few ways to have a social media manager can help your business!

I’ll get to it

I remember the days of frantically trying to get a post together after putting the kids down because I had forgotten, aka said, “I’ll do it later.”  It happened too many times, but I get it!  You want to wait and see what you’ve created that day, but then there's nothing as the day gets away from you.  So you find a random photo and throw a quick caption on it.  Friends, there is a better way!  When you outsource your social media to me, I can take care of posting every photo, every caption, and even every story!  There’s no need for you to do it later when I’ve already done it for you!

Over/Under Posting

Consistency with anything is never easy.  Diet, exercise, and getting enough water are difficult enough, let alone trying to post consistently.  Like with everything, consistency is key.  Posting eight times a day because we’re thinking about it and then not posting for two months is inconsistent.  Even worse, you won’t gain any points with that darn algorithm. As your social media manager, I will take all the fantastic ideas that you have today and turn them into content for the next several days.  This will help you remain present in your ideal client's feed and grow on social media.

Imposter syndrome

“It doesn’t matter how often I post or what I post.  It’s not going to be good enough.  Have you seen *insert photographer who posts consistently here* recent post?!  How am I supposed to compete with that?!”  I’m not going to deny it. Imposter syndrome is real.  Most of us go through it at some point or another, and that’s okay!  It’s hard in this world of social media not to compare, but the important thing is not to stay in that space for too long!  Each of us has something wonderfully unique to offer, which needs to be showcased! The best part is that’s what I’m here for!  I can see the beautiful work you have to offer and curate your feed to show off those strengths, regardless of what everyone else is doing.

The best part about working with me to manage your social media?  You get a built-in accountability buddy! What’s better than a built-in support system to help you achieve your goals?!  I know I do better when someone cheers me on, and that is what I want to do for you!  If you’re ready to take control of your social media and use it as a tool to grow your business, then let’s talk!
