Reflections: April + May
Holy cow it is almost JUNE! and I thought April snuck up on fast! It has been a chaotic and fun time. The beginning of April my brothers were in Michigan celebrating Easter and Bug's birthday. It was the first time we had been all in the same place since I was married in May of 2014. It is always nice to all be in the same place again.
BUG TURNED TWO!
My little man is growing so fast. It is so mind-blowing to see him just absorb everything like a sponge. He is so smart, and so much freaking fun! When they say, "It is like your heart is running around outside your chest" that is completely accurate.
My Pop-Up Session was held at Tribe Detroit. It is a brand new hub for creatives. The space is fantastic with a clean aesthetic and oodles of natural light. I had the pleasure of working with The Flynn's for my Pop-Up Session at Tribe Detroit. Their two little ones were so lovely and fantastic for the camera. I can't wait to work with them again. See more of their session HERE.
WELCOME BABY H!
Meghan and Jay welcomed baby boy number three to their family. It was so much fantastic to catch up with them and to document their growing family. This is one of the first newborn sessions I have done without props, I call it Free Range Baby Photography, HAHA. I recently stopped posing babies and using props because it started to feel contrived and unnatural to me. I want to document babies being babies and unposed. See more of their session HERE
MONDAY QUOTES: APRIL
MONDAY QUOTES: MAY
For the most part, May has been a quiet month. I have been creatively trying to recharge, and spend time with the family. I have been working on more Graphic Design and Website building this month. I can't wait to show you what I have been working on.
For now on to June! Hello Summer! I look forward to all the new adventures to come.
