AN ARTIST'S HEART ROOTED IN CONNECTION
Growing up in Troy, Michigan, as a kid, my Mom would have friends over, and they would sit down, drink a cup of coffee, and talk. I would eagerly sit with them, hoping to hear their conversation and be able to chime in some meaningful way.
I think about this now, and it was that connection and friendship built over a cup of coffee that I loved so much and held on to as an adult.
FAVORITE THINGS
Coffee - Nothing hits quite like the first sip.
Laughing - I try not to take myself too seriously.
Dancing - In my kitchen with my kids.
Reading - A little mystery, a little smutty.
