A Day at Greenfield Village: Capturing New Memories.

I recently had the joy of photographing a family I’ve come to know well over the years. From maternity and newborn sessions to now with their family session, this family has a special place in my heart. Our latest adventure took us to the charming Greenfield Village, where we spent a sunny fall day capturing new memories.

We made our way to the carousel. Stopping along the way to look at the animals that were out and the airplanes that flew overhead. Once we arrived their son, E, was over the moon when he got to ring the bell and check out the unmoving carousel since he wasn’t quiet ready to ride, and it was quiet enough that we could hop on without riding.

We continued our journey and ended up at the chapel where Kaytee and Alex had exchanged their vows. It was a beautiful moment, watching them kiss at the altar once again, this time with their little one by their side. The chapel's timeless elegance provided a perfect backdrop for this heartfelt reunion, and it was wonderful to see their love still as strong as ever.

We also took a stroll to see the windmills. It was lovely to capture the family against such an iconic backdrop. The sprawling greens and historic charm of Greenfield Village offered countless opportunities for candid, relaxed photos, making it a perfect setting for our session.

Spending the day with this family was like catching up with old friends. Their warmth and happiness radiated in every shot, making each photo a testament to their love and the beautiful life they are building together. I can’t wait to see how their journey continues to unfold and to be there to capture more of their precious moments.
