A Fall Family Session at Maybury Park.
A Dynamic Duo and Their Incredible Mom
With two bright and energetic kids in tow, this family radiated personality and connection. Annie, the eldest, has a caring spirit and a love for adventure – especially when it involves swimming, her favorite activity. Paul, the younger sibling, is the family’s comedian, bringing playful energy and plenty of laughs.
Their mom is a powerhouse in every sense of the word. Balancing work, family, and life’s curveballs, she’s all about celebrating her family’s unique story. It was clear that this session was about capturing not just smiles but the love and togetherness that define them.
The Session: Quick, Cozy, and Full of Personality
Maybury State Park, with its open fields and winding trails, gave us the perfect wintery backdrop. The session was quick – because let’s be real, Michigan winters don’t mess around – but even in the chill, we found those authentic moments that make a session shine.
Annie brought a calm and caring presence to the photos, while Paul kept things lively with his playful side (and yes, we even captured a few classic tongue-out moments). Despite the cold, their personalities came through beautifully, and we were able to pull out those special connections that tell their family’s story.
The highlight of the session was the group shot – the perfect mix of candid joy and togetherness. It’s a moment that will shine on their holiday card this year and serve as a snapshot of this stage in their lives.
Why These Moments Matter
This session wasn’t just about photos; it was about celebrating the everyday magic of family and stepping into your story. In between the laughter, the chilly air, and even the resistance from Paul (because kids will be kids), we captured moments that reflect the love and connection that make this family unique.
Thank You for Letting Me Capture Your Story
To this wonderful family: thank you for braving the cold and bringing your full selves to the session. Your joy and connection made every moment worth it, and I’m so grateful to have been a part of it.
If you’re ready to book your own session, whether it’s in the heart of winter or a sunnier season, I’d love to help tell your story through timeless photos.
