A Vibrant Fall Wedding at the Troy Historical Museum, Michigan

Jess + Rich

I recently had the honor of capturing a dear friend's wedding at the beautiful Troy Historic Village. This special day was all about Jess and her new husband, Rich, as they celebrated their love surrounded by their closest friends and family. It was truly an intimate and beautiful affair.

Jess and Rich's wedding was the perfect opportunity to showcase the style of photography I am passionate about. Mixing documentary and traditional wedding photography I wanted to capture the genuine emotions and interactions between the couple and their loved ones. From the nervous anticipation before the ceremony to the laughter and joy during the reception, every moment was filled with warmth and happiness.

The Troy Historic Village provided a charming backdrop for the wedding. Its historic architecture and beautiful gardens added a touch of romance to the photos. I took advantage of the natural surroundings, incorporating fall colors and textures into my shots. The result was a collection of images that truly captured the essence of the season and the love between Jess and Rich.

Throughout the day, I focused on documenting the wedding as it unfolded, rather than directing or staging moments. I wanted to capture the authentic emotions of Jess, Rich, and their loved ones. From the tears of joy during the vows to the laughter on the dance floor, every moment was a precious memory waiting to be preserved.

Being a Documentary Wedding Photographer allowed me to witness beautiful love stories like Jess and Rich's. It's an honor to be entrusted with capturing such important moments. Through my documentary wedding photography approach, I can create lasting memories that will be cherished for generations to come.

Jess and Rich's fall wedding at the Troy Historic Museum was a truly intimate and beautiful celebration. I felt privileged to capture their special day. The genuine emotions and love that filled the air were truly inspiring, and I am grateful to have been a part of it all.
