A Grand Blanc Family Photo Session

A Documentary Family Photo Session

Bryan and Jeri live on a beautiful patch of land in rural Michigan with their two little ones and a flock of chickens! We spent the afternoon exploring their property, hunting for Morale Mushrooms and large rocks to throw in the stream. For their family photos, we did a three-hour documentary session.

Having known Bryan and Jeri since we were young, I know moving to the country has meant a lot to their family. It has allowed them to slow down and enjoy the little things in life. Like planting a garden and having the space to let their little ones run wild.

It was hard not to fall in love with all the nature they had at their back door. It was my honor to document this slice of heaven they have carved out for themselves. That is the beauty of an extended photo session. It allows me to capture all the beautiful moments authentically rather than forced.

Thank you, Jeri and Bryan, for inviting me in to document the beautiful life you are building.

Kate
