Lifestyle Maternity Session with a Documentary Approach

It was Halloween and a beautiful fall day in Oakland County, Michigan—a perfect day for family photos. When Amber reached out for a family session with a dash of maternity, it was an enthusiastic yes from me.

Having photographed her boys before, I knew all of the awesome shenanigans that could ensue, and I was completely there for it. Oliver and Henry are two rambunctious boys full of spunk and curiosity. I love that they give me a wide range of faces to play with and are always keeping me on my toes. Getting to photograph Amber and Nick again was exciting. When I was first starting out, they were one of the first families to hire me for a Family Photo Session. It has been a pleasure to document their relationship, their boys, and her baby bump. I can't wait to meet their newest edition.
